These are our most current and complete retail terms
of sale, amended Dec 2nd, 2011; and supersede any
existing terms of sale that may have been offered by
Border Mountain.
Privacy Policy:
Border Mountain and Promise Publications respects your
privacy. Our Newsletter, Email, and customer lists are
kept in strict confidence and will never be shared
with or sold to any third party. We collect only the
personal information we need to fulfill and ship your
order.

aware that we are not responsible for the content or
privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage
our users to be aware when they leave our site and to
read the privacy statements of any other site that

Terms of Sale:
How to order: By phone, (503) 774-4658. Please leave a
detailed message if a representative cannot be
reached. We try our best to respond in person, please
be sure to leave your name and a phone number where
you can be reached along with the name of your
organization or Hospice. Our extensive website is also
open 24 hours a day. We do have a secure online order
form through Pay Pal for the security and privacy of
your information. If you wish to order online, just
click on the "purchase" links. You do not need to have
nor create a PayPal account in order to use a credit
card to order any of our materials. Using PayPal
payment services insures your account information is
more secure as we do not have access to nor do we
store your financial information on our computers nor
servers.
Payment:
All major Credit cards are accepted (through PayPal
only), money order or cashier's check, or personal
check with order. (Please add an additional 14 days to
delivery time for personal check clearance). A $30
charge will be added to all "insufficient funds"
checks. International orders must be prepaid in US
funds by wire transfer or credit card via Pay Pal
order.
Prices & Specifications:
All prices are subject to change. As we continually
work to improve our products and service, our prices,
terms of sale and product specifications are subject
to change without notice, and goods will be invoiced
at the prices prevailing at the date of shipment. It
is the purchaser's responsibility to confirm listed
prices and availability of goods prior to ordering.
Shipping & Delivery:
Of most of our books and manuals are usually shipped
via UPS and take approximately 7-14 days after leaving
our warehouse in Spokane WA. or Oregon. DVD orders are
shipped Priority Mail from Oregon. We generally have
all orders shipped within 2 to 3 workdays upon
receiving the order, however it depends entirely on
our current workload in the shipping department. If
you require express delivery (second or third day
air), please call for current rates. Please call or
email for shipping rates on any International orders.
Shipping is generally included with the total purchase
price, unless specifically noted. WE ARE UNABLE TO
SHIP OVERNIGHT. We do not take responsibility in rush
orders if product does not reach final destination in
the required time for the user. Shipping is dependant
on weather conditions and current workload. Please
order early to allow for any problems in shipping that
may arise.
Did your order suffer Damage
during
shipping?? - Please retain the
shipping boxes and packaging and notify us immediately
at (503) 774-4658 or using the email address above, so
that we can replace your damaged items and file an
insured shipping claim.
Exchange Policy:
If the item you ordered is not what you wanted, let us
help you exchange it for one that works. If you wish
to make an exchange, it must be shipped pre-paid at
your expense, in original new condition within 30 days
of the invoice date along with your instructions and a
copy of the Border Mountain invoice receipt. Please
call (503) 774-4658 in advance, in order for us to
issue you with a return authorization.
Return Policy/30 Day Money Back Guaranty:
All goods must be returned in original new condition
within 30 days of the invoice date and excludes all
delivery and or shipping charges. Please phone (503)
774-4658 in advance for return authorization before
returning any goods; without this code your return
will not be accepted. Make sure the return
authorization code is clearly marked on the topside of
the return carton. If exchange or refund merchandise
is not returned in original unused condition, you will
be billed a restock charge. If the goods have apparent
wear from usage your return will be adjusted by a
minimum of 15% to allow for a reduced selling price.
If the goods you are returning have been altered or
modified in anyway, this will immediately terminate
any exchange of return provision offered above. Credit
card returns (credits) and refund checks (if you paid
by check) can take up to 10 days to be processed after
we have received the returned goods. (Return provision
does not apply to clearance items, custom orders, used
merchandise or lay away purchases).
Clearance Items/Lay Away:
Absolutely no refunds on clearance items, used
merchandise, or lay away purchases. However, we will
gladly exchange any unused item you are not satisfied
with within 30 days of the invoice date. After
exchanging the product for another item, the original
no refund policy still applies. Clearance and used
merchandise includes, but is not limited to, any item
that has been reduced in price from the current Border
Mountain price list.
Custom Orders:
Because we understand that each group requires
different attention to different needs, we allow mix
and match orders. Let us know if you need a mixture of
Spanish workbooks and English workbooks or any of our
products ordered to your specific needs.
International Orders:
Border Mountain ships Worldwide - Please call or email
us for the shipping cost on all International orders.
The shipping price quoted will not include any import
duty, clearance costs, retail taxes or the like that
may apply to your particular country. Unfortunately
the import laws and requirements vary considerably in
different countries, accordingly you are responsible
for these additional charges should they apply. Please
check with your local import broker or customs office
prior to ordering. If the package is seized by Customs
for any reason whatsoever and we do not receive the
package back, we will not issue a refund. We also
reserve the right to refuse service to anyone if
complications occur or management decides to do so in
any particular situation.
Lifetime Warranty:
All new products are covered under our Lifetime
Warranty. If for any reason our product is defective
upon arrival or defunct for manufacturing reasons, we
will replace the product free of charge. However, all
shipping charges incurred after a first time return
under the warranty are the responsibility of the
purchaser. This warranty does not apply to any product
that has been the subject of misuse, neglect,
accident, alteration or modification. This warranty is
limited to the replacement or repair of any defective
parts.
